Here’s what our customers think!

There’s no greater reward or joy to movie exhibitioners than seeing the smiles and delight on people spanning generations as they leave the theatre. Thank you all for coming to see our movies the way they were intended to be seen…on a BIG SCREEN! Our unique programming keeps people coming back for more.

“Thank you for presenting “ from Russia with love “ this past weekend. I will definitely come back because I was a film major in college and worked in the film business . I was an apprentice for Pablo ferro in my teens . Look him up he was a Hollywood filmmaker who worked with the likes of Kubrick . He was responsible for the credit sequence of clockwork orange among other great films. I am going to recommend this cultural venue to my friends . I absolutely love it!” Elliot Pineriro (Facebook Post May 2023)

“First visit with friends, Lee Pfeiffer and Anthony Joseph to the INCREDIBLE Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee, NJ. We were graciously treated to a tour of the BFC by president Nelson Page. Lavish state-of-the-art cinema and projection booth, an Eagle’s nest Sky Gallery display of notable film pioneers of the silent era, an assortment of vintage movie posters and props, and a forthcoming museum that will document Fort Lee and NJ’s role in the development of cinema (the latter still under construction but being readied for a summer opening).

There’s even a Walk of Fame on the sidewalk tiles surrounding the magnificent corner building. We were there for the 40th anniversary screening of OCTOPUSSY, the first of their Bond and Beyond series. The screening was hosted by filmmaker Kristian Fraga who offered great insight into this entry of the James Bond series and held an entertaining Q & A afterward. The BFC is an ABSOLUTE film lover’s paradise. Once the Bond series concludes, the center will be hosting retrospectives of films by the likes of Stanley Kubrick (including a rare screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey in 70mm!) and the Coen Bros. (with a Woody Allen drama tossed in as part of their Inner Views Series).

I’m planning on heading up again this weekend for some more classic 007 on the big screen.” Hank Reineke (Facebook Post May 2023)

“Love the Barrymore, I’ve been there a handful of times already. Will be there next weekend for the killers and 2001 on 70 MM” Dave Wright (Facebook Post May 2023)

“A wonderful little theater. Friendly and informative staff, an ambiance that makes you feel like you are among people who love the widest bearth of cinema, the exterior of the theater/museum has more thought than most other theaters I've been to (the stars on the sidewalk are a fun touch), and the picture and sound is immaculate. Good snacks, too. I look forward to the museum being fully available. I can't wait to come back!” JACK GATTANELLA (5 Stars)

Thank you to the folks running this place, you've done a truly wonderful job. You've made a lifetime customer.
