LIVE SHOW - FEATURING RAY FAIOLA

THE WAR OF THE WORLDS LIVE ON-STAGE EVENT- an 85th Anniversary live presentation of THE WAR OF THE WORLDS, based on the novel by H. G. Wells and originally adapted for Orson Welles’ Mercury Theater on the Air. The original Halloween eve broadcast terrorized the nation and for good reason. The play is a realistic dramatization of what might have happened had visitors from another world invaded the wilds of New Jersey - and beyond - way back in 1938. We couldn’t think of a better follow-up to our November 3rd screening of the 1953 science fiction film classic.

RAY FAIOLA

After studying theater at the University of Miami , Ray Faiola returned to New York in 1979, doing stage work and joining CBS Television Network. He retired from CBS as Director of Audience Services in 2019. Ray can currently be seen on Netflix in THE SECRET DIARY OF AN EXCHANGE STUDENT; and on Amazon Prime as Pete the Creep in Personae Entertainment's DARCY and as L.J. Coleman in CONFESSION.

Joining Ray in the cast of THE WAR OF THE WORLDS are Sean Marrinan, Wayne Pyle, Craig Marin and Kevin Miller, all of whom have been part of Rays’ annual Terror at the Mike series of live radio plays at Shadowland Stages in Ellenville.
